Celtic world music group Gaelic Storm will blow through the Metro tonight for a show at West Des Moines' Val Air Ballroom. Doors at the Val Air will open at 7 p.m., and the music will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show are still available at the Val Air box office for $20. This will be an all ages event.

Gaelic Storm got their start back in 1996 in Santa Monica, California. The band, now based out of Nashville, has since taken the world of world music by storm. Gaelic Storm's last four albums have debuted at #1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart. The Celtic quintet released their latest #1 smash, entitled The Boathouse, last August. They have toured all over the world, playing their mix of traditional Scottish and Irish favorites and original Celtic rock tunes.
