Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias has thousands of fans around the country, but those living closest to the Los Angeles area got a special treat on Friday morning. Once again Fluffy held his annual Fluffy Fan Appreciation Day at the Black Bear Diner in Long Beach. Offering up a hot plate of breakfast, the comedian had plenty of folks who arrived early with a line starting an hour before the restaurant doors opened.
While some freebies are skimpy, it appears that Fluffy didn't spare any expense for his fans. The hot cakes and food flowed out of the kitchen with plenty to spare and nobody went to work hungry as everyone got fed. Plus the comedian posed with fans for pictures, offered up gifts and thanked everyone for their continued support of his career. Fans were seriously impressed as comedians don’t usually go out of their way to say thanks with such an extraordinary effort.
“You are such a nice man thanks for the food. With lots of love from the blue haired girl you named Solo,” wrote Kristy Gutierrez-Angel after stopping by. She echoed hundreds of fans who found the food generous and the fun almost too much to handle so early in the morning.
“Thanks for the food fluffy! And it was awesome finally meeting you! Now I can't wait to finally see you in a show!!!!” said Andy Lazaro about the experience.
Fluffy is definitely expected to have a big year in 2013. With fans around the country excited about his material and willing to hit the theaters to see him perform, there isn't any doubt he will once again travel America to make people laugh.
