Gabourey Sidibe crushes mean critics over her Golden Globes dress

According to Dr. Carolyn Ross, 80 percent of women in the U.S. are dissatisfied with their appearance, but don’t even try to include actress Gabourey Sidibe in that group.

The Academy Award nominee and American Horror Story: Coven actress had a serious message for all of the negative commenters who did not like the dress she wore to the 2014 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

She hit the red carpet wearing a floor length, ivory gown by Michael Costello Couture, and the critics were brutal.

One commenter wrote, "I love Gabby Sidibe but she looked like the GLOBE at the Golden Globes," and the hits just kept on coming.

Sidibe fired back with the following tweet, "To people making mean comments about my GG pics, I mos def cried about it on that private jet on my way to my dream job last night. #JK."

Her fans flooded her with support, and the post has garnered almost 30,000 retweets.

She clearly gave a lesson on how to shut down haters—all the way from a private jet.
