Mark Kelly, the recently retired astronaut husband of Rep. Gabby Gifford testified in from of Congress and noisily campaigned in favor of Gun Control in recent months.
In an embarrassing example of hypocrisy, he was caught buying an AR-15 rifle of the same type which he has been busy trying to get banned. EMBARRASSING!!!
It would seem that while he doesn't believe that YOU should be able to own an AR-15 he wants to have one for himself.
It seems he isn't alone.
Shortly after word leaked that he had been spotted buying an AR-15, a photo surfaced of his wife, Rep. Gabby Gifford cheerfully brandishing a similar AR-15 of her own in a campaign photo shoot at a gun range in 2010.
So it seems that both Kelly and Giffords are fine with AR-15s for themselves and if they'll get them a few extra votes but they aren't comfortable with the rest of us regular folks owning them.
