G20 cop assaults protestor with bike

Most likely you've heard about the protests at the G20 summit going on in Toronto right now and all the riots.

One protest was attended by Brooke Kelly of SimplySeekingFreedom.com and Chandra Seymour of We Are Change Austin and was broken up by a group of thugs on bikes. Chandra e-mailed me a short account of what happened

There were 6 of us walking through a park, or what appeared to be a park and following a little path. There were a lot of cops just chilling at this building and especially, ones on bikes.

I think Brooke bullhorned them a little but I wasn't paying attention really just walking and 9ish cops came driving their bikes like maniacs into us all separating us and grabbing our bags and just searching them. I think they might have said why, such as we were walking through public private property or something very contradictory.

I looked down where the cop slid his bike into my ankle and it was bleeding. I said he assaulted me. He said he did not assault me and that how he remembered it I tried to push him off his bike. He asked where I was from in which I told him and he said I need to "Go back to f*cking Texas." He was rude, He and his buddy ripped the cords out of our bullhorns and broke them. They were ridiculous.

Apparently, the reasoning for the whole behavior was because the infiltrators dressed in normal clothes at the beginning of their march and then changed into their gear for the destruction. SO that was the premise to grabbing peoples belongings and searching through them and destroying their bullhorns.

It was out of control. I am absolutely in a police state.

Here is a video of the protestors that includes an interview with a guy who was assaulted by the police and recieved 11 stitches

Yep. Being attacked by a cop now constitutes "assaulting an officer". Just ask George Donnelly.

If being peaceful is punished as severely as violently standing up for basic human rights is, what's the incentive to be peaceful when attacked? Unintended consequences are a b**ch.
