Innovative trio G. Love and Special Sauce, who have been blending blues, funk, roots and hip-hop since forming in Cambridge, MA in 1992, are bidding adieu to winter with a series of dates across the middle of the country in the upcoming weeks. Although the band has not released a new studio album in a couple of years, lead vocalist/guitarist (and group namesake) G. Love contributed to last year’s Top of the World album from Slightly Stoopid, and their signature 1994 hit “Baby’s Got Sauce” was prominently featured in a McDonald’s commercial last fall. G. Love and Special Sauce have also been a relentless touring machine for most of their career, so look for more shows as the year continues. More info on venues and tickets is available here.
