"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" had its Australian premiere at Event Cinemas George Street on March 14, 2013, in Sydney, Australia. "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" was directed by Jon M. Chu and stars Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson and Ray Park.
Gracing the red carpet premiere were director Jon M. Chu, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, DJ Cotrona, Byung-Hun Lee, Marnie Little, Dan Ewing, Nacho Pop and Titomatic.
In "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.
This was the debut for "G.I. Joe: Retaliation." The film will be released into Australian and U.S. movie houses on Thursday, March 28. The film will battle for box office dollars with the science fiction flick "The Host," "Tyler Perry's Temptation," and Bradley Cooper's new film "The Place Beyond the Pines."
"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of combat violence and martial arts action throughout, and for brief sensuality and language and has a run-time of 1 hour and 39 minutes.
