Many NASCAR fans seek Charlotte Motor Speedway for its renown 1.5-mile oval track located in the heart of NASCAR territory for team shops and driver homes. Some of those fans know CMS owned by Speedway Media Inc. is known for its diverse forms of motorsports as well.
Speedway Motorsports Inc. also owns zMAX Dragway and The Dirt Track at Charlotte and hosts two NHRA Mello Yello events per season, one of which is the only four-wide race in the NHRA fast agenda. CMS also hosts World of Outlaws races, monster trucks and more.
