Cronin is a native Southern Californian who relocated up to the bay area after attending Cal Arts and has since released MCII on May 7 of this year. Cronin has been on tour through much of the United States and Europe for most of the year. Cronin's August 24 appearance for the FYF Fest should be huge exposure for this emerging musician.
Mikal Cronin will be on the Carrie Stage and he will have a daytime set that will begin at 4:00 p.m. for the FYF Fest. Right after Cronin plays, Roky Erickson, the psychedelic pioneer from Austin will be performing at the Samantha Tent at 4:30 p.m. Later that evening back on the Carrie Stage, TV On The Radio and Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be performing.
Some other notables that will be at the FYF Fest are MGMT, Beach House, and the Melvins among many others.
FYF Fest is held at the Los Angeles Historic Park on August 24 and 25. There are four stages featuring many established and up and coming musicians and and a few comedians. More information on performers, set times, and festival information can be found at FYF Fest.
