FX scares up an 'American Horror Story' special event on Halloween

FX announced today plans for a very special (read: scary) Halloween by offering up a marathon of the earliest four episodes of American Horror Story, to be followed by a special two-part Halloween-themed episode.

“Halloween, Part 1” will air on October 26th at 10pm, showcasing the "line between the living and the dead [blurring]" due to the holiday when two of the house’s previous residents (guest stars Quinto and Sears) give the Harmons decorating advice.
 
Listed below are episode descriptions for the AHS Halloween Marathon on Halloween:

    •    Episode 1 – “Pilot” 10:00 PM E/P (original air date October 5, 10PM E/P) – A therapist moves his wife and teenage daughter across the country to escape their troubled past. The Harmon family quickly discovers their new home comes with its own kind of baggage. Written by Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk; Directed by Ryan Murphy.

   •    Episode 2 – “Home Invasion” 11:10 PM E/P (original air date October 12, 10 PM E/P) – Vivien and Violet find themselves in a dangerous situation eerily similar to a past event.  Ben goes back to Boston to fix a mistake. Written by Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk; Directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.

    •    Episode 3 – “Murder House” 12:10 AM E/P (original air date October 19, 10PM E/P) – After putting the house back on the market, Vivien learns about its first residents.  Ben’s visitor causes him to further unravel.  Constance and Moira’s history is revealed. Written by Jennifer Salt; directed by Brad Buecker.

So what better to do on Halloween then turn off the lights, eat the bowl of candy you would have handed out to trick-or-treaters if they knew you were home, and scare yourself silly with American Horror Story!
 

American Horror Story airs on Wednesday nights at 10pm, only on FX.
