FX brings the terror next door with the Americans

FX has already established itself as a major player in original programming with some awesome shows like Sons of Anarchy, Justified, and American Horror Story. Now they step into a new realm of story taking on spies and the cold war with The Americans.

The series follows a pair of KGB spies posing as Americans in Washington shortly after Reagan is elected President. Their cover is tested by not only the escalation of the Cold War and the complex relationships they must maintain, but also the ever growing passion and genuine feel for each other. As if these weren’t enough issues to contend with the arrival of a new neighbor who just happens to be an FBI agent who is a member of the new division of Counterintelligence tasked with fighting against foreign agents on US soil.

The series stars Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Maximilliano Hernandez, Keidrich Sellati, Holly Taylor, Noah Emmerich, and Margo Martindale.

Beware your neighbors when the Americans premiere on January 30 on FX.
