Futuristic colorblocked chic from Lacoste Fall 2013 Womenswear and Menswear (Photos)

Designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista presented his Menswear and Womenswear collection on the runway at the Lacoste Fall 2013 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, held at The Theatre at Lincoln Center on February 9, 2013 in New York City.

The focus is on color-blocking and mixing of materials and textures in a similar sense. For example a fabric and leather-like garment might have leather-like sleeves, hips, pocket trim and lower legs.

One such Menswear composite fabric and leather ensemble was sported in monochrome black on French model Clement Chabernaud. The look is really quite futuristic and striking – at least on Chabernaud!

Other notable ensembles include an artsy marbled camouflage grey print, which is featured on hooded coats and separates and paired to great effect with tangerine orange for a pop of color.

The same grey marbled print is also featured in the Womenswear collection, such as the jumper and cropped pants ensemble, also teamed with an orange turtleneck and the marbled dress, again teamed with an orange turtleneck.

Solid color skirt suits are trimmed in contrasting piping, such as the black suit trimmed in white and the cobalt suit trimmed in black.

Hooded coats are also available in orange, transparent grey and green raingear and lined parkas in neutrals cream, black and pearl grey, often with a metallic silvery lining.

Colorblocked designs include variations in grey, black, white, orange, cobalt and green – sometimes with beige thrown in.

Lacoste Fall 2013 footwear is interesting too – dainty slick ankle length rainboots, ankle-strap pumps and sneakers that colormatch your outfit.

If you want that sporty, futuristic, high-tech look, Lacoste has it covered for Lacoste Fall 2013! Enjoy the Lacoste Fall 2013 slideshow…
