Sony has disclosed new information concerning future PS4 stock for the US and the sales rate at which the new home console has been selling in the region. According to a post on NeoGAF from Feb. 14, Sony Computer Entertainment America Marketing Vice President John Koller recently went into great detail on how Sony is planning for the release of the PS4 in Japan and how they will manage stock for the US and other regions across the world.

During an interview with the PlayStation Blog, Koller was asked about the supply state of the PS4 leading up to the Japanese launch. To this question Koller replied that since the console’s Nov. 15 launch in North America, every PS4 has been sold. Furthermore, Sony recognizes that the PS4 is being well received and selling well in all regions.

As a result of the PS4 being such a hot item, the company is doing its best to make PS4 stock available in the 53 countries the PS4 is available. Those looking to get a PS4 are advised to check their local retail stores frequently as new PS4 shipments are now coming in at a more regular pace. Find Koller’s full statement regarding available PS4 stock below:

Since we launched on November 15th, we’ve sold every PS4 available in the US. It’s clear that PS4 is seeing strong appeal all over the world, and we’ll continue doing our best to provide additional inventory in all of the 53 countries where PS4 is available. We’ve got supply refreshing throughout the channel regularly, so I encourage everyone to check in with their local retailers regularly.

The PS4 has gone on to sell over 4.2 million consoles worldwide since its Nov. launch. With major releases like inFamous: Second Son just around the corner, sales of the system should remain strong for the next several months.

Other notable PS4 releases coming in the next few months include MLB 14: The Show, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and Thief. We’ll have more to share on these upcoming games in the near future.
