Furthur has confirmed they will play the BottleRock 2013 Napa Valley Festival at the Napa Expo in Napa, CA on Thursday, May 9, 2013. So far it is Furthur’s only confirmed spring concert date.
Furthur will be joining many other jambands that are also playing the festival, which advertises itself as featuring “music, food, wine, comedy and beer” and runs from Thursday, May 9 through Sunday, May 12. Other performers that could be considered members of or at least allied with the jamband scene include The Black Crowes, Blues Traveler, Ben Harper, The Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Zac Brown Band, Alabama Shakes and Michael Franti and Spearhead. So far it is confirmed the Black Keys play May 10, while Kings of Leon play May 11 and Zac Brown Band play May 12.
Presale tickets go on sale Feb. 3-9, with presale codes given to Napa Valley locals, artist fan club members, community partners and other specific groups. General sales start Feb. 10. Check here for a full list of performers, ticket prices and other information.
