Furniture Girls On the Move with “Dreams” EP release Friday at The High Dive, with guests The Yev, and Aaron Daniel's "One Man Banned".
SEATTLE – 2014 promises to be a banner year for Seattle music fans with 12 new songs from Furniture Girls, the Seattle electro-rock band. They celebrate the release of their Dreams EP on February 21st, with a launch party at High Dive in Fremont, beginning at 9:00 PM.
Fans will not only enjoy the six new songs on the Dreams EP, but will be treated to the release of a second EP, Chaos, later in 2014. Originally conceived as a full-length album, Dreams and Chaos are being released as two six-song CDs, with additional bonus tracks included on the downloadable versions of each EP. “When we stepped back and looked at all 12 songs, we saw two very different sets,” said bassist/producer Jim Watkins. “One set is more ambient and atmospheric, while the other is straight-ahead retro-rock. The lyrical themes in each set are a little different too, so it just made sense to create two EPs.”
