He wants YOU...to eat more chicken. But not from Chik-Fil-A.
This picture's been bouncing around the interwebs today, and it's pretty funny. What we have here is a photo snapped somewhere in Japan, where there seems to be some confusion as to who Uncle Sam actually is. Sure, Americans are fat and lazy and love fried chicken and bad TV...but it's not like we'd join this guy's army. In fact, I'm relatively sure that Colonel Sanders wasn't even a real colonel. Perhaps it's time we say the Japanese down and explained a few things to them; I really hope they don't think that Sanders had anything to do with that whole Hiroshima thing (speaking of a nuclear bomb).

Colonel Sanders was a Kentucky Colonel, which is sort of like a knighthood, only bestowed by the governor of Kentucky. You don't have no be from Kentucky to receive it. Other Kentucky Colonels can be found at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kentucky_colonel#Notable_colonels
Nebraska has a similar, somewhat light-hearted honor, Nebraska Admiral
