It was a long weekend here at Comedy Examiner HQ, but we're happy to be back at work (note: the previous statement is absolute...well, "malarkey" is a PG-rated version of the word we're thinking of). Over the past three days, you-- the gentle Examine readers of the world-- inundated our inbox with a massive number of Funny Photo submissions. As always, some were good, some were bad, and some were just ugly. Wanna see some of 'em? Head on down to the "Slideshow" box, my gentle Examiner readers...
If you're a frequent reader of the Funny Photo articles we run here at Comedy Examiner HQ, then you already know our new policy regard Funny Photo articles: we plug a little message down here at the bottom, just a little something to fill out the space while you leapfrog straight to the good stuff (the Funny Photos in that "Slideshow" box over there on the left) immediately upon arriving.
We know that no one reads this stuff-- you're here for a few Funny Photos, nothing more-- so we decided awhile back to make things a whole lot easier on everyone involved: you don't have to worry about reading the nonsense attached to the "good stuff", and we don't have to worry about rambling on for three or four paragraphs before ushering you over to the "Slideshow" box. It's a win-win, people.
And so, as always, you've come here for the Funny Photos. If it's your first time here, you're reading this message for the first time. If it's your second time here, you're probably reading this and thinking, "Hey, didn't I already read this at some point?" And if it's your third time here, you know to skip all this nonsense and click on the "Slideshow" box immediately upon entering the page.
Unless you've got that disease the dude in Memento had, of course. In that case, you've probably read this a bajillion times, in which case we feel very, very sorry for you.
We like to cycle through the message here from time to time, so don't be surprised to see a new perma-message in this space on some future edition of Funny Photos. When that day arrives, you can read through the piece and see if there's anything worth reading. Until then, though, let's just cut the B.S. and get to the reason we're all here: to click the "Slideshow" box in order to see internet-based photos of people being stupid.
As always, you can still stay tuned for more Funny Photos in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead, and you can also still send in your own Funny Photos for a chance to have them featured here at Comedy Examiner HQ. If they're selected, you'll be given credit and all the glory that comes with seeing your name in digital print. Just think how jealous your friends are gonna be! Stay tuned for more, ladies.
