Funny Photos: It's a very belated Valentine's Day at Comedy Examiner HQ

This week, your humble Comedy Examiner was out of town (on a set visit in New Orleans, as a matter of fact, but you'll have to wait until later this year to hear all about it), which meant that your humble Comedy Examiner had no choice but to miss out on Valentine's Day festivities. Now, my lady-friend was understanding about this-- after all, it's not every day that one gets to interview Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell during Mardi Gras-- but I also knew I'd have to make it up to her immediately upon returning.  How'd I go about doing that?  Find out in the Funny Photo on the left, my gentle Examiner readers...

Here's what's been going on at Comedy Examiner HQ lately:  this month-- that'd be February, for those of you without calendars-- we've got a number of movie reviews and interviews to throw your way (we're just gonna pretend that January didn't happen, especially as it pertains to film:  did you see the crap they put in theaters last month? Terrifying), and next month-- that'd be March-- we've got the SXSW Film Festival to cover...along with a super-secret surprise bit of coverage that you'll be very curious to read, indeed.

The 2012 SXSW Film Festival is going to end up being one of the biggest events we cover this year, and if you haven't been paying attention to our pre-SXSW coverage, we strongly recommend that you head over to both this page and this page to get all caught up on what films we're going to be seeing this year.  Last year at SXSW, we saw InsidiousBellflowerAttack The Block, and a number of other great movies at SXSW:  God only knows how many great flicks we'll end up catching this year, but you can stay tuned to find out!

Funny Photos, meanwhile (which remains the most popular feature at Comedy Examiner HQ), will continue to work as it has for the past few years.  We updated our Funny Photo submission process late last year, and the response was so great, we're going to go ahead and leave that unchanged:  as always, you can send in your (non-profane, non-racist, non-violent) Funny Photos to ComedyExaminerFunnyPhotos (at) Yahoo (dotcom), and we'll have our mail-order intern, Geraldo, look over each and every one.  If they're good enough to be featured here at Comedy Examiner HQ, they'll end up in one of those endless "Slideshow box(es) on the left" we're always going on about.

Today's batch is over there on the left as we speak.  Maybe it's a Funny Photo (or two) that you sent in yourself.  Why not click on that box now, see what your fellow Comedy Examiner readers have come up with?  But before you do, remember:  we're serious this time.  We are back on track, ready to bring you your daily doses of nonsense from deep in the heart of Texas, and we will not rest until every last one of you are satiated.  Or until the Mayan Apocalypse of 2012 hits, whichever comes first.

Click the "Slideshow" box, see Funny Photos, laugh, rinse, repeat.

Stay tuned for more funny videos, news, reviews, interviews, and more from Comedy Examiner HQ in the near future, folks. We've got all manner of nonsense to keep you informed and entertained during the week, so hit the 'Subscribe' button up top to get all future Comedy Examiner articles delivered straight to your inbox, free of charge, the moment they're published ... including any of our future Funny Photo (or Fun With iPhones)-related updates. You can also head on over to THIS PAGE to follow your humble Comedy Examiner on Twitter.
