Did James Cameron really rip-off "Pocahontas"? Do you really care?
James Cameron's "Avatar" makes for an awesome film-going experience, but there are plenty of haters out there still looking to make some chinks in the film's billion-dollar armor. This morning, the Comedy Examiner's Office got pointed in the direction of this funny picture showing the startling similarities between "Avatar" and "Disney's Pocahontas" (you can see it below), and we thought we'd pass it along for the "Avatar"-hating crowd in attendance. Check it out, my gentle Examiner readers...

Well, we found the above to be pretty funny, and it doesn't take away any of the enjoyment we had in watching "Avatar". More than anything, the uproar that's surrounded this film amongst film geeks-- between the factions that either hate the film or love the experience of viewing it-- has just grown tiresome. The bottom line is, "Avatar" has made a boatload of cash, isn't nearly done earning, and may very well replace "Titanic" as the highest-grossing film of all-time. If ya hate "Avatar", what can ya do?

These "haters" are full of uninformed balogna. There are no new stories under the sun - all are recycled in one way or another.
From prehistoric cave paintings to Cameron's "Avatar", the stories are the same - only the names and eras change.
