Funny Fashion: New anti-Tea Bagger campaign 'F--- Tea' sells some snazzy shirts

  Now THAT's a classy-looking t-shirt.  I'll take a case.

Let's say you're not a member of the Tea Bagger movement, and let's further imagine that you're not a fan of the movement in general.  In fact, let's imagine that you really, really don't like the Teabaggers, especially their overlord, Sarah Palin.  You want to express your open hostility for this group, but you're not into picketing.  What do you do?  Well, the Agenda Project has just launched a line of shirts, coffee mugs, and other merchandise that can help you spread your opinion towards the Teabaggers.  Just be careful where you wear those shirts: some people might not be amused.  Read all about it below, my gentle Examiner readers...

Over the past year or two, the Teabagger movement has caught on to a surprising degree.  Independent political movements aren't completely unheard of, but independent political movements that are largely composed of the kind of people that can't even spell the words on their protest signs correctly certainly are.  If you're not a fan of the Teabagger movement, then there's a good chance that you might be interested in the line of "F-ck Tea" shirts currently being pushed by Democratic group the Agenda Project (one of which you can see above).

The group was founded by Erica Payne (co-founder of the Democracy Alliance), who's obviously not a big fan of the Tea Party movement.  What's the point of the shirts, and what does she hope to accomplish with this new line of clothing?  Let's hear her out:

We will be launching new products in the next several months to help people all over the country F*ck Tea," Payne told POLITICO. "Products like a Glenn Beck Bowl Buddy (Beck B Scrubbin) and others are perfect holiday gifts or just a great way to say, 'I love you and our country' to your spouse, friend or family."

Sounds reasonable to me.  Of course, some are going to bristle about the idea of profanity on t-shirts, but is that any more offensive than any other form of discourse taking place between political parties right now?  Frankly, the "F-word" might be the least offensive shot taken by either side recently.  The group has also put together a funny little video to help promote their anti-Teabagger agenda (and, by the way, am I the only one that's still dumbfounded that the Tea Party movement is proudly proclaiming themselves to be "Teabaggers"?  Anyone?), which-- as you might imagine given the name of their group-- could be considered not-safe-for-work.  Let's check that out:

If you're interested in picking up one of these "F-ck Tea" t-shirts, then you can head on over to THIS page, where you'll find a stunning array of shirts in a variety of styles, as well as coffee mugs.  With Christmas coming up, these might make for some great stocking stuffers for the Sarah Palin haterz living under your roof.  Stay tuned for more shenanigans involving Sarah Palin in the near future, by the way: that woman's a bottomless comedy goldmine.
