Then, what San Diego party wold be complete without one of the Lady Lush gals doing her thing on the 1's and 2's? Skutech (Lady Lush, Vinyl Elements) is one of San Diego's most versatile DJs and has played all the hottest SD parties and started the legendary Vinyl Elements crew.
A special treat is the live percussionist Nathan Samuels (XIV) who is a master of just about every instrument including studio production. At Funk Deluxe, Nathan brings the funk to life with timbales, percussion and live trumpet. Check out his live trip-hop act XIV.

'The Event' takes place from 9pm-2am at Kadan. There is no cover, cheap drinks and no dress code. The perfect combination to go with the perfect lineup. Oh, but you gotta be 21 with ID.

2.) Parking is usually pretty good, you may have to walk a couple blocks but you won't have to pay!

I've been to funk deluxe before and me and my girlfriends had such a good time dancing! We felt comfortable with no creepy guys and love how they mix latin music with dance music.
