Funeral Kings is the story of two possible thugs in-the-making, Andy (Dylan Hartigan) and Charlie (Alex Maizus). The boys are are pre-teens and they play play hooky from school after they've done helped to do funerals at the local church.
They are joined by David (Jordan Puzzo) after Bobby gets in trouble and is no longer around. We discover from listening to the tedium that is their conversations that Bobby has gone to juvie. Nice.
However, we find a hint of redemption for the boys and they become somewhat tolerable after one of their really dumb friends shoots a dog and they take the dog to a veterinarian.
Still, this is pretty awful.
Tedious, really.
Andy: Charlie, if I can't do it, then you can't do it.
Andy: I had a hard time getting to sleep last night.
Andy: We've got to find a way to get that movie.
Charlie: I got something better.
David: I'm not a millionaire. It was just one movie.
David: Is that why Bobby's in juvie?
Patricia: You know, at some point, you have to decide who you're going to be for the rest of your life.
