I can not stand how certain politicians love to be seen at funerals of popular leaders. There are many politicians who make sure they are seen by the media at political funerals. I think it is sick and pathetic for so-called leaders to use funerals as promotional tools.
Next week former Mayor William Donald Schaefer's funeral will be the "place to be seen" for our pathetic leaders. They will tweet about it, send out emails about, and post about it on Facebook. I hope some people call them out over social media. I also challenge true leaders who did not personally know Schaefer to not show up at his funeral and actually serve their constituency on the day of the funeral. If you feel the need to show up, please be respectful and don't yap about it in every corner of the Internet in order to promote your pathetic political career.
