This is a great cause and is actually an organization I found the need for several years back. My ten year old son was in a major accident and was airlifted to LSU Health Center in Shreveport. He was in a coma and diagnosed with traumatic brain injury. His chances for survival were slim. After a week at LSU, he was again airlifted, this time to Ft. Worth Cook's Children's Hospital. His stay there exceeded 3 months, and during that time, I relied on the Ronald McDonald house for room and board. I will never forget the generosity and the great need that was filled by the Ronald McDonald House. This story has a good ending. My son survived and next week he and his wife will welcome their first baby, Aaron Jay, to the world. The Ronald McDonald House provides support for many families like mine who are facing loss of job and income while they travel out of town to be with their loved ones.
Come out and support this great cause!
