Fundraiser for the Mooresville Arts Partnership (Photos)

Spring is just around the corner and 2013 promises to host several activities for the paranormal community to become involved with. Many times we are given the opportunity to help those that are tasked with “giving back” to the community—not only in personal development but also in fostering a sense of community spirit. As with the coming of spring, one opportunity is also just around the corner.

A fundraiser for the Mooresville Arts Partnership will take place on Saturday, April 20th at the historic Hannah House located on Indianapolis’ near south side. The evening will encompass advice in paranormal investigating, food, fun, and a chance to personally explore Hannah House into the wee hours of morning. The event will be hosted by Shanna Leadman and the paranormal investigative team iGhost.

The Mooresville Arts Partnership (MAP), located at 15 East Main Street in Mooresville, Indiana, is a not for profit educational facility with the humble goal of embellishing creative thinking and individual expression through programs of education, performance and exhibition. The year-round classes and workshops feature dance, visual arts, drama and music. MAP actually has its own competitive dance team. In the educational realm they offer after school tutoring to improve student’s academic skills.

MAP’s programs are offered to the community—children, teens and adults—and all programs are reasonably priced. 100% of the fundraiser’s proceeds will go back into MAP.

The cost for the evening is $50 which will include pizza and soft drinks. There is a cap on the number of folks that will investigate the Hannah House, so consequently tickets are limited and will go fast. Tickets can be purchased through Pay Pal or credit card by going through the iGhost website.

Participants will have an evening of making their way through “the home with a past” from 8:00 PM Saturday until 3:00 AM on Sunday morning. You will need to be at least 18 years of age and able to provide a photo ID. You are encouraged to bring the “basics”…flashlight, camera, audio recorder, etc.

The fundraiser venue was graciously donated by the Hannah House.

Don’t wait until it is too late and all tickets are gone! Spend an evening in a grand old house with a checkered past. One never knows…perhaps you will encounter one of the spirits that are said to inhabit the house and grounds. Your participation will also mean that you are furthering a great cause in the community of Mooresville.
