Nature walks are not the only way to enjoy family exercise at Houston's parks and conservancies. Have you and your family ever tried a nature scavenger hunt? This can be a great bonding experience, as well as provide great exercise from all the running, bending over to collect items, and so on. Nature scavenger hunts can be done at a park, in a backyard, at a campsite, and anywhere else nature is present.
What about moms and babies (or even dads and siblings too) at the park? Parents need exercise and infants and kids may enjoy getting out of the house and in nature. Stroller exercises are great for losing that post-baby weight and also a great way to socialize. Families may also find it to be a wonderful bonding experience.
