Profile Lake is the to go to place for fly fisherman. Many travelers have hiked along the Appalachian Trail and watched the magnificent Falcons and beautiful Hawks as they fly around Cannon Cliffs. Although this is considered a wonderful summer wonderland, thousands of visitors visit this park in the wintertime for skiing and snowmobiling.

One of the best rated ski resorts is found at Bretton Woods with 434 amazing acres with over 100 trails for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. This is New Hampshire's largest park for skiing and is well-known for its night skiing opportunities.

For visitors with small children it is a must to meet old St. Nick at Santa's Village. Here the family can get up close and personal with Santa's reindeer where feeding and petting the animals is part of the days fun. Santa's Village is open year-round and also offers rides, varied activities and animated 3-D movies can be watched at the polar Theatre. The village is open several times during the year.

Another great attraction in the area near Littleton, New Hampshire is Six Gun City, a water park built with a western theme. This park is designed for all ages the Tomahawk Run Waterslide is great for the thrill seeker where Cheyenne Falls is a much gentler waterslide for those younger visitors to the park. While at the park don't forget to ride the go karts at the Tumbleweed Speedway. Another unusual activity this park has, which is very popular is laser tag. For those with very small children Story Land will be the park of choice, where the children can ride the Huff Puff Railroad, or ride on the Swan boats for Alice's Tea Cups.

A visit to Littleton Gristmill which was built in 1798 is a must for anybody interested in history. The grist mill and a sawmill along with several other businesses were located along the Ammonoosuc River, where a dam was built to provide the energy needed for the mills. The dam is no longer in existence, however the Grist Mill has been restored and remains as a historic site.

Whales Tale is a huge park, also in the Littleton New Hampshire area, that consists of 11 twisting and spiraling water park slides. For those seeking a relaxing time take the quarter-mile ride up the Lazy River. The newest addition to Whales Tale is Shipwreck Island, which is fun for the entire family. There is an extensive children's play area equipped with play fountains and many slides that will entertain your children for hours. This allows the parents to watch your children having fun while they relax and enjoy some quiet time for themselves.
