The Summer is over, and fall has begun; however, in Southern California it still feels like summer with plenty of outdoor activities going on, especially for the music lovers. For those who enjoy Jazz and R&B, then you do not want to miss out on Earthfest LA on Saturday, September 28.
Earthfest LA is hosted every year by California Greenworks Inc., a non-profit whose purpose is to improve urban communities in South Los Angeles. This organization helps to build environmental outreach and educational programs that improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods. California Greenworks does not accomplish this mission alone. They partner with local community-based organizations and groups along with other non-profit organizations. Each of these partnerships allows California Greenworks to put programs and projects into action that make a difference in neighborhoods across South Los Angeles.
The Earthfest LA concert is one of the outreach projects that will help in raising funds for the continuous efforts of California Greenworks. Headlining the concert will be Ambrosia, Paul Brown and Freddie Ravel. Lawn seats are only $10 in advance and the concert kicks off at 2 p.m. at West Los Angeles College, 9000 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230.
Come casually dressed and enjoy a nice day out with the family. For more information or to purchase tickets visit EarthFestLA.org.
