Tickets to Austin, Texas based music festival Fun Fun Fun Fest went on sale today at 10 a.m. CT. Coinciding with ticket sales is the announcement of the 2014 lineup, which is just as awesome and heavy with outstanding relevant artists as fans of the fest would expect. The announcement comes with the full lineup of three of the five stages that will be at FFFFest 2014, which means that there will be at least one more announcement to look forward to and hopefully many more awesome groups to add to the roster.

Fun Fun Fun Fest is uniquely different than most music festivals you will encounter, especially in the United States. Nine years ago the festival the festival's humble beginnings were in Waterloo park with 25 featured artists. The intimate nature of the festival made it an underground success grabbing the attention of indie music nerds world wide. In its ninth year the festival boasts a lineup comparable, if not better, than any other major festival and will be sure to fill out the large footprint of Auditorium Shores in Austin the weekend of November 7th later this year. Fans of the festival might be weary of its growing popularity, but I am willing to bet that most will simply be excited to see so many amazing "indie" acts at what is sure to be one of the best festivals of 2014. Oh, and be sure to check out the linked announcement video to see some members of the old TV show Jackass introduce the lineup in some hilarious and painful ways.
