May 2 - Bowie Job Fair. The City of Bowie is hosting a Job Fair on May 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Bowie Gymnasium. Last year there was over 40 employers and over 800 job seekers in attendance. The Job Fair is free for both employers and job seekers. You do not have to live in Bowie to attend.

May 3 - Crofton Woods Elementary Fun Fair. Crofton Woods Elementary School is having their Fun Fair on Saturday May 3rd from 11 am to 4 pm. The Fun Fair features a range of carnival games, an inflatable climbing slide, face painting, sno-cones, cotton candy, and a bake sale. Stop by the food tent for lunch, enjoy some of the entertainment that will be provided, or find a new treasure at the White Elephant Sale.May 1

May 4 - Wee-Sale Children's Consignment Event. Wee-Sale Children's Consignment Event- Annapolis HUGE seasonal children's consignment sale! This is the largest seasonal consignment sale in the Annapolis area. Over 35,000 square feet of items: toys, clothes (sizes 0-16), baby gear, maternity clothes, books, and more.

May 2 - Bond & Bentley @ Union Jack's. Bond & Bentley began in 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland as a vehicle for the acoustic songs of lead singer Ray Wroten. Over the years B&B has created songs that dip into not only traditional rock avenues but have a home in blues, hip-hop, ska, reggae, jam band, and funk circles. $5 cover.

May 5 - Sly 45 Live at The Federal House Bar and Grille!. Sly 45 plays hits from the 50’s and 60’s as well as contemporary favorites. Sly 45 is the Mid-Atlantic's living tribute to the swagger, style, and freshness of those early days when blues and jazz musicians were still figuring out what to call the new sound. Free.

May 4 - A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra- "It Was a Very Good Year". This show is a must -see for any Sinatra fan a multi extravaganza for the eyes and ears! Tony has incorporated video stunning graphics that entice you the moment the stage lights dim and the music begins.The show starts with Sinatra's early days with Tommy Dorsey to the bright lights of New York City to his come back at Madison Square Garden the "Main Event". Tickets, $25.
