If you're familiar with the Sci-Fi Diner at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you know that you eat your meal in a "car" while enjoying classic B-movie clips from 1950s science fiction flicks. However, when the Star Wars breakfast takes over (it runs daily through June 15), you'll see clips of a very different kind.
Click the slideshow accompanying this article to see stills of some of the fun clips that appear in the big screen. Among my favorites were the Star Wars theme sing-along with a bouncing Death Star ball to guide you through the words (Bom Bom Bom) and the Star Wars Holiday Special cartoon with Boba Fett. Of course, there are also trailer clips of the movies, as well as a Cliff Notes version of the original trilogy in case you're one of the dozen people on the planet who hasn't even seen them.
I really liked the clips, and the reel was the perfect length. Literally, the famous pod race scene was on when I walked in and had just started up again as I prepared to leave, so I got to see original content throughout the whole meal. If you'd like to see what I ate, go to this article.
Of course, the big highlight of the Star Wars breakfast is meeting characters like Boba Fett and Greedo. Jump to this article to see who I encountered as I dined. You'll see that plenty of characters come out to play, making this a very worthwhile dining experience even if it's a little pricey ($47.99 for adults and $29.99 for kids).
