For children, Christmas is a magical time of year. The weeks leading up to Christmas are just as enchanting in a child's mind as the day itself. Parents can nurture this creative spirit in their children by adding to the excitment with great decorations, seasonal movies and even the ocassional Christmas themed snack.
Just such a snack is this adorable and easy Christmas mouse. The mouse pictured with the article is the easy version of this snack. To amp up the difficulty level and cuteness simple add sliced almond pieces inbetween the hersheys kiss and chocolate covered almond.
You will need:
Pitted cherries with stem on
Bakers chocolate
hersheys kisses
and almond slices (optional)
cookie
sheet to let snacks dry
Simple unwrap desired quantity of kisses, drain the cherries and melt the bakers chocolate. Dip cherries into the melted chocolate and attach the kiss to the other end. If you are including the almond slice ears on your mouse simple pace them between the cherry and kiss. Lay mice on the cookie sheet to cool and viola! Adorable Christmas mice!
