Last night the New York based band, Fun, eventually had a lot of it, performing at one of the most important events in music: The Grammy Awards.

As a matter of fact, Fun proudly took home not one but two Grammy Awards for "Best New Artist" and "Song of the Year". After an exciting show under the rain in the Los Angeles' Staples Center, which by the way only drenched the musicians on the stage, Fun were awarded with that song that gets stocked in your head the first time you hear it. About the best new artist, well, the indie pop band has been hitting the stage for about four years. Their second album Some Nights include the song of the year, the single “We are young”. The album also had two nominations.

The quote of the night was by singer Nate Ruess who said excitedly after accepting the award "I gotta pee so bad, so I'm gonna leave it up to these guys," before letting his bandmates thank all those involved. "We're so old" he exclaimed before exiting the stage.

As for the future, Fun has the Most Nights summer tour coming up starting in July with their friends Tegan and Sara in Canada following the US. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 consequently for some venues. The band will also be hosting the Ally Coallision's Equality Village at each date of the Most Nights summer tour.
