On the March 6 episode of ‘Full Throttle Saloon’ on truTV fans get to see the long awaited wedding of Michael Ballard and Angie Carlson. Sure everyone knows they were married in August of 2012, in Kansas City, but since the show is just now airing, fans were in anticipation and eager to watch.
As is typical with the “Full Throttle Saloon” gang, nothing ever goes off without a hitch. Last week’s episode ended with Michael and Jesse trying to set up the first Throttle Fest, in Kansas City, and trying to plan a wedding to surprise Angie.
This week’s episode begins with an all-out rush to get everything set up with three hours to go until the gates open. The health inspector is breathing down their necks and Michael’s truck gets broken into. Whoever broke into the truck took off with all of the costumes for Angie’s Rock Star Bartenders dance performance.
The gates are finally open and Kansas City Throttle Fest is under way. Registers are ringing, people are coming in droves and Michael is smiling, but he still hasn’t figured out a way to tell Angie about the wedding he has planned for Sunday.
Jackyl is set to perform at 11 p.m. but Jessie catches his finger in the bus door hinge as he exists and he is bleeding and cussing. Can there be any more surprises? With Jessie around there sure can be! After he and the band perform a couple of songs, he invites Michael Ballard to the stage. Michael comes out and then Jessie calls Angie to the stage and announces to the crowd that Michael intends to marry Angie tomorrow, right there on the grounds of Throttle Fest.
Angie questions how they could have pulled it all off and wonders how she is supposed to get ready for a wedding. Weddings take weeks or months to organize and her she was being told she was getting married in a matter of hours.
Angie takes it all in stride and goes to a bridal shop, selects a dress, puts it on and comes back out, all in under 16 minutes. That has got to be a world’s record. Though she is getting married with little preparation on her part and only her Mom and sister with her Angie says:
In the end, I am going to be Mrs. Michael Ballard and that’s all that matters to me.
And in the end, she did become Mrs. Michael Ballard in probably one of the fastest, strangest weddings to ever hit Reality TV. Jessie wasn’t quite done with his surprises either as he unveiled a huge wooden box with “Puh-Pow” written on the front.
The box had been part of a deadly stunt that Jessie had planned for Sturgis until Michael’s security team found it and confiscated it. It was filled with 10 sticks of dynamite and Jessie intended to climb in and detonate it. Before Michael could stop him, the countdown began and the box exploded. When the smoke cleared all Michael could see was a body lying beside the shattered box. He ran for the body yelling Jessie’s name…
Tune into the ‘Full Throttle Saloon’ next Wednesday night on truTV to see if how Jessie pulled this stunt off. Did he ruin Michael and Angie’s wedding day or did he just end it with a huge BANG?
