‘Full Throttle Saloon’ Jesse says no more stunts

The premiere episode of “Full Throttle Saloon” started off with a huge list of twist, turns and changes. The second episode which aired on December 16, on TruTV, at 10 P.M. ET, was no exception. Along with the news of a new baby coming and Michael trying to get the Sloonshine Distillery up and running, Jesse James Dupree decided to throw in his own change.

Jesse is the front man for the band Jackyl. They always perform at the “Full Throttle Saloon” during Sturgis Bike week. Jesse is well known in the biker community for doing some outrageously dangerous stunts during the band’s Thursday night performances. Crowds show up in droves, not only to hear the band, but to see what Jesse has planned.

For years, Michael Ballard has tried to keep one step ahead of Jesse and stop the stunts. He has had security checking the grounds and even argued with Jesse about the danger and liability. Jesse always manages to outsmart Michael and pulls off a stunt that sets the crowd to cheering wildly.

This year, as Jesse walks through the crowds at the “Full Throttle Saloon”, shaking hands and taking pictures with people they ask what kind of stunt he is coming up with. They tell him they can’t wait for Thursday night.

No stunts this year. I promised my wife and daughter”

Michael hears that a competitive bar down the road has copied some of Jesse’s stunts and will be doing them during the rally in an attempt to attract the bikers away from the “Full Throttle Saloon.”

In yet another turn of events, Michael decides that Jesse needs to do a stunt to keep the crowds on the property. Jesse tells Michael there is no way he will do a stunt after promising his family that he wouldn’t. Michael even calls the other band members of Jackyl into his office and asks them to convince Jesse to do a stunt.

Jesse’s past stunts have been so dangerous that they have had paramedics standing by. They have involved extreme heights, dynamite and riding a motorcycle on a tight wire. He even blew himself up in a box of dynamite at Michael and Angie’s wedding reception. No wonder his family made him stop doing something so dangerous, right?

The crowds expect a stunt. The band is trying to convince him to do a stunt. Michael is insisting he do a stunt.

He’ll do a stunt if I have to blow that stage up under him!”

What do you think? Will they convince Jesse to do an outrageously dangerous stunt? If you were at the Sturgis Bike Rally in August, you already know the answer. If you weren’t there you’ll just have to tune into TruTV on Monday nights at 10 p.m. ET to find out.
