You may have noticed a beautiful moon in the sky last night and you may have another chance tonight before the clouds roll into West Michigan. The full moon is actually Monday afternoon at 3:26 p.m. EST. Every full moon is given a name. This one is the Full Snow Moon.
According to space.com: “Usually the heaviest snows fall in this month. Hunting becomes very difficult, and hence to some tribes this was known as the Full Hunger Moon.”
