Lion Fight Promotions, in conjunction with Guilty Boxing, is bringing its first of four Muay Thai cards this year to the Star of the Desert Arena at Buffalo Bill's Hotel & Casino in Primm, NV.
A mixture of twelve professional and amateur bouts are scheduled to be on the card. Among the fighters taking part in the card are Las Vegas fighters Kevin Ross, Chaz Mulkey, Scotty Leffler, Shawn Yarborough, Anthony Castrejon, Jason Andrada, and Patti Teran.
The main event of the evening will feature a world class rematch between Mongkhon “Malaipet” Wiwasuk and Michael Mananquil. Wiwasuk is a former Rajadamnern champion. Mananquil is a world champion Muay Thai boxer and has over twenty professional fights. I was lucky enough to find a YouTube video of their last fight. Wiwasuk is in the black trunks with the white trim while Mananquil is in the black trunks with the red trim. The rematch looks to be a great fight.
