On Jan. 7 the official and complete music lineup was announced for the 2013 RodeoHouston and some of the acts performing this year will be Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Bruno Mars, Tim McGraw, and Kenny Chesney. The music entertainment for the 2013 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will take place from Feb. 25 to March 17 at the Reliant Center.
In total there will be 25 music acts at the 2013 RodeoHouston. The acts are musically diverse, but the vast majority of performers are country artists. The non-country music acts includes Mary J. Blige, Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, Styx, Julion Alvarez, Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon, and Pitbull.
One country superstar act that will be performing is Lady Antebellum, who has been cancelling shows recently due to vocalist Hillary Scott's pregnancy. The breakout country music group The Band Perry will take the stage on March 9 and country legend Tim McGraw will perform on March 8 in support of his twelfth studio album, "Two Lanes of Freedom".
