True Bloodies, also known as fangbangers, can feel their blood boiling. A new "True Blood" season six trailer was released on Saturday, and as it promises, "No one lives forever."
Does that mean that some of our favorite undead characters will be turned to dust this season?
The full-length trailer, 1:30 in length, shows the rise of what has been coming for some time: humans vs. vampires. There is even a nice tagline: “It’s time for the humans to bite back.”
Of course, while there will be plenty of blood-sucking, gore, horror, there will also be plenty of sex and lust, too. Don't forget the fairies, magic, werewolves and shapeshifters that exist alongside the vampires. There will not be much normalcy, though, despite Sookie's lament:
I can barely remember the last time I wasn't in danger. I want my life back.
"True Blood" returns to HBO on June 16 at 9 p.m. ET. The premiere episode is directed by star Stephen Moyer (BIll Compton), who is also the real-life husband of co-star Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse).
