Full Body Photo Project Launches Nationwide Promotion for Body Acceptance

The Full Body Photo Project has partnered with major US retailers Lane Bryant, Torrid, OneStopPlus, Ulla Popken, Full Figured Fashion Week and more to launch a nationwide join and win promotion targeted as raising awareness for positive body image. The promotion runs from October 3, 2011 to October 14, 2011. Over twenty major plus size retailers have joined the campaign as presenting sponsors and are offering over $2500 in prizes.

The Full Body Photo Project uses the power of social media to bring women together to empower each other with one's full body self portrait. Over two thousand women have joined and uploaded their full body photo to say to the world they love every inch of their body.

"The modern day woman has so much pressure to be perfect in every way, as a mom, a wife, a woman in general. I feel it's crucial to gather as women and embrace who and what we are. Stop the pressure and just love yourself!" said Jessica Kane, founder of the Full Body Photo Project. "When I challenged the major retailers to support this project, they didn't hesitate. I am so proud of what we are doing together to empower thousands of women to love their bodies!"
