This is a three day weekend due to the Columbus Day holiday on Monday. Fall is in full swing in Fort Worth and there are lots of fun family activities going on this weekend.
State Fair of Texas - through 10/23

Nash Farms Fall Roundup - 10/8 through 10/10
Nash Farms in Grapevine is holding their annual fall festival this weekend with free games, a petting zoo, and lots of photo ops. Activities run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Check out some other local pumpkin farms for more events.
Christmas in Cowtown - through 10/8

Arts Goggle - 10/8
The fall Arts Goggle takes place on Saturday from 4-10 p.m. in the Near Southside neighborhood. Hop around through the businesses and restaurants to browse the work of dozens of local artists. Find a map and details on the event flier.
Pottery in the Park - 10/8 & 9
Visit the Lockheed Martin Recreational Association's annual Pottery in the Park day. Purchase a pot to paint and have it fired while you wait. There will also be demos, discussions, and tours of the studio. Concessions will be available and free rides for children. The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and admission is free.
