Fresh fruit salsa brings a citrus twist to your foods. There are many combinations of fruit that lend themselves to being used in fruit salsa. But your key ingredients should include cilantro and jalapeno.
1 cup fresh pineapple
1/2 cup chopped mango
2 chopped kiwi
3 green onion stalks
1 fresh or 1 small can of jalapeño
1/4 cup of cilantro
1/4 cup of sugar
A squeeze of lime or lemon juice to taste
Once you have chopped all the ingredients place them in a food processor and blend until consistently chunky. Or if you cut all your ingredients into small cubes you can just fold the ingredients together. Once blended sprinkle on top with lime juice and sugar to draw out the juice and flavor of the fruit. Serve with plain corn chips or sugar and cinnamon tortillas chips, or on top of chicken or pork.
