
Instead of making the standard rice crispy treats, you can make these fruity or cocoa crispy treats in a cake pan! Use a Christmas tree shaped pan for Christmas or a leaf or turkey shaped pan for Thanksgiving.
Holiday Crispy Cakes
- ½ stick margarine
- 1 pkg. mini marshmallows (10.5 oz)
- 1 box fruity crispies or cocoa crispies cereal (13 oz)
Spray cake pan with cooking spray.
In a non-stick pot, melt margarine on the stove over medium heat.
Add marshmallows and mix. Stir until melted.
Add cereal and mix together.
Press into prepared pan.
To keep mixture from sticking to your hands or spatula, spray it with cooking spray.
Allow to cool and remove from pan onto a serving tray or platter.
