This recipe calls for Egg Beaters – an egg substitute found in the dairy section of most grocery stores. Egg Beaters are lower in fat and calories than whole eggs.
Fruit Dip Recipe
Ingredients for Fruit Dip Recipe:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons Egg Beaters, egg substitute
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
Directions for making Fruit Dip:
In a medium sauce pan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the Egg Beaters, flour, and sugar. Using a whisk, stir together until well blended and cook over medium low heat, stirring continually, until the mixture is thick.
Remove from heat and cool. After the mixture has cooled to room temperature, add the thawed Cool Whip. Whisk together and serve with fruit cut in bite-sized pieces.
