Looking for something fun yet inexpensive to do this weekend? Here are some ideas to get you out of the house and enjoy the great outdoors around Columbus.

  • Enjoy half off admission to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium through the end of February. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
  • Bring your canine friend to Glacier Ridge Metro Park on Friday February 24 at 6:30 pm to enjoy a winter hike with your furry friend.
  • See the bison at Batelle Darby Creek Metro Park on Saturday February 25 at 10 am. Take this winter hike through the park and watch the buffalo roam.
  • Learn about owls on Saturday February 25 at 6pm at Clear Creek Metro Park.
  • Visit the newest of the Metro Parks, Walnut Woods, on Sunday February 26 at 4pm for a hike.

Be sure to dress for the weather if you plan to participate in an outdoor hike.
