Being frugal usually goes hand and hand with homeschooling - usually because you are a one-income family. Buying curriculum can become quite costly (particularly if you have more than one child) and most people aren't aware of the free resources available to help you cut down on your costs.
The following is a list of great websites for you to check out:
Homeschool Freebie of the Day - a free download every day!
CurrClick - Curriculum in a click with free downloads each week!
DonnaYoung.org - Free printable worksheets and resources
Notebookingpages.com - Free homeschool printables, worksheets and more!
Hands of a Child - free bi-annual lapbook when you sign up for their newsletter
Free Charlotte Mason Style Curriculum
Free Homeschool Planner/Journal
This is just the tip of the iceberg! Tomorrow I will continue with more websites for free resources for homeschool curriculum.
Remember, just because a curriculum cost a lot of money does not make it a superior learning resource. With the internet and world-wide-web at our fingertips, we can find studies and resources on just about every subject. It takes more time than just having a textbook in front of you with everything already laid out, but sometimes the searching can be an added benefit to the lesson.
