This year’s fest brings back crowd favorites, such as the Renaissance Scot Village, Farmer’s Market, Hawk Quest, Celtic clans, bands, dancers, sword fighting, weavers, wool spinners and leather workers. Join fellow Denverites in the celebration of Mexican Independence from Spanish colonialists in 1810. The “Grito de Delores” ceremony commemorating the cry of Father Miguel Hidalgo for Mexican sovereignty will be performed. There will be live music, food, drinks and a children’s area.
