Friday, December 2nd, 2011-Looking for something to do today on a budget? Head to the Expo Center in Portland, Oregon for America's Largest Christmas Bazaar today and get in free with 2 cans of food.
Why? Let me count the reasons:
- Get some Christmas shopping done by purchasing from local vendors
- Samples, samples, samples
- Keep your money in our communities instead of in the Big Box stores
- Keep Christmas hand made
- Help getting in the Christmas spirit
Things you should know:
Parking is still $8 unless you have 3 or more people in your car, then it's $7. You can get there on MAX. Find out how by going to the Trimet Trip Planner web page.
Hours are 10-6 Friday and Saturday, and 10-5 Sunday. Entry with 2 cans of food is only good today, Friday, December 2nd.
Admission on Saturday and Sunday:
General Admission (18 & up): $7
Seniors (65 & up): $6
Children (12 -17): $3
Children under 12: FREE
Bring a stroller if you have little ones, because it can get overwhelming and you won't have to carry all of your purchases in your arms.
Bring a lunch from home in the spirit of Frugal Fridays.
Trust me, you're gonna love it!
