Frugal Friday: Soup Swap

See also

My frugal Friday tip is actually the TPC soup swap. It's where a group of people get together and swap soups. I had to prepare six 1qt soups on reusable Tupperware and we just got together and swapped soups so you came out of it with soups for freezing. We also had recipes available in case anyone wanted to recreate them. I think that next time, I might try to put my soups in a large quart sized mason jar. It's so easy to share and I've grabbed some great recipes already from the past.

Some people also choose to put their soup in a ziplock bag. I also have been able to freeze those bags and the other ones, I'll ladle half of it into my Lunch Crock to bring to work.
