Saturday, December 7, 2013 Frozen 2-D will be shown as this month's Sensory Friendly Film thanks to AMC and The Autism Society. What started as a special request at one theater has grown into a nationwide program of first-run family films shown in a way that is more comfortable for children with autism and other special needs. During Sensory Friendly Films the house lights are left on and the sound is much lower than at other showings. Patrons are permitted to walk around during the film and it's fine to bring special dietary needs snacks into the theater. All shows start at 10 am local time and the admission price is reduced.
